Chrissy Moyer

RBT, Case Manager

Chrissy considers herself a life-long learner which is reflected in her diverse educational and career background. Her career began with a role as a Naturalist where she educated children about wildlife, led nature-based educational activities, and trained staff, which initially sparked her interest in teaching. She then transitioned to a Home Care Aide position where she provided compassionate care and support to clients, demonstrating her ability to build meaningful relationships and address individual needs. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in psychology, she pursued and completed a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Transitioning into the ABA field, she interned in Clinical Behavior Analysis, followed by a position as a Behavior Technician/BCBA supervisee at an ABA clinic. During her time as a Behavior Technician, she also took on a research assistant role for a previous mentor’s dissertation. After this, she expanded her skills as an intern in Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) consulting where she assisted in optimizing organizational processes and enhancing team performance. Her goal is to finish her remaining BCBA fieldwork hours and pursue BCBA certification. In her free time, you can find her on a nature walk, at a movie theater, or curled up with a good book. She is excited to work with your child at Autism Planet ABA and is passionate about building rapport and trust with every learner while teaching self-advocacy skills and finding and troubleshooting barriers to learning in compassionate ways.
